Youth Assistance

Adolescence is a critical stage of human development that can lead to long-term life altering problems without effective interventions and treatment.

The Youth Treatment\Recovery Assistance and Training Project aims to increase high-quality programs and services that reduce and prevent the use of drugs and alcohol among youth, as well as promote healthy development in areas such as social, physical, educational and mental health.

ONTRACK provides customized technical support in the form of professional on-site consultation, training and other program support services to meet the special needs of organizations seeking to improve or target treatment/rehabilitation for youth.  Typical focus areas of technical assistance and training include:

  • Youth Treatment Standards
  • Screening and Assessment
  • Ethics and Consent Guidelines
  • Best Practice Models and Strategies for Youth Development
  • Parental Involvement Strategies
  • Age/Developmental and Cultural Competency
  • Gender Specific Youth Treatment Approaches
  • Organizational Management
